Around 25,000 households in Queensland's southeast woke up experiencing outages on the start of the week after severe thunderstorms passed over the region, bringing powerful gusts topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Large Frozen Precipitation and Extensive Destruction
Residents witnessed substantial frozen pellets measuring up to seven centimeters in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that various areas across the state had been impacted by large hailstones.
